Fall has officially arrived here in Connecticut according to the weather if not the calendar. My thoughts are turning to pumpkins, colored leaves, mums and hot cider! That also means fall sewing and so its time for another round-up of free sewing and stitching patterns for your creative endeavors! Check out my previous round up posts of Free Fall Designs and Pumpkins to Stitch and Sew, and follow my Fall Sewing Pinterest Board for even more inspiration! As always, let's start with a little smocking! This free Candy Corn smocking design from Michie Moonie is adorable.
I am not a huge Halloween Fan, but this quilted wall hanging from Flamingo Toes is fun.
If you enjoy quilting, then you might want to check out this Autumn Leaf tree pillow from Cluck Cluck Sew. A great bonus benefit is that it can be made with scraps if you happen to have fall colored scraps around!
Another fun idea to sew for your home are these fun Pumpkin Coasters from Jubilee Homespun.
Or perhaps you prefer yarn and crochet. In that case, whip up a few stuffed pumpkins for your décor with this pattern from Sewrella.
If a sewing sister happens to have a Fall birthday, or if you just want a little fall inspiration in your sewing room, then try this fun Pumpkin Pincushion from Purl Soho.
If embroidery is more your style, then here is a several fall themed projects to embroider from Mollie Johanson,
or get started on this Thankful design from Cutesy Crafts in time for Thanksgiving!
Finally, if you are able to track it down, perhaps at your local library, this adorable story by Edna Miller was one of my kids favorites growing up! We always had to put the pumpkins in the woods after Halloween thanks to this book.
Happy Fall Stitching!
